Overview

What is Briefcase?

Briefcase is built for large-scale VR training, bringing multiple headsets together inside one rugged, transportable deployment case.

Custom 3D-printed inserts secure each headset in place, while integrated charging, clean cable routing and modular bowtie locks keep the system organised, protected and ready to redeploy.

Open. Train. Recharge. Redeploy.

Insert layout — one fixed bay per headset

The system

A place for every headset.

The insert system gives each headset a fixed position inside Briefcase, helping teams reset faster, transport cleaner and keep every unit ready for the next session.

Form fit bays

Dedicated spaces keep headsets secure in transit.

Modular inserts

Individual sections can be removed and replaced.

Open access

Headsets are easy to lift out, return and check.

Cable ready

Routing points support clean internal charging.

Modularity

Locked together. Built to come apart.

Removable insert modules make Briefcase easier to maintain and adapt. The bowtie key connects neighboring sections into one stable grid when the system is packed and in use.

Replaceable

Swap one section without rebuilding the full layout.

Stable

Lock adjacent modules together so the grid stays aligned.

Scalable

Adapt the insert layout around different headset counts, up to a 12-slot Quest 2 storage layout.

A secure fit in 3 simple steps

1

Align modules

Adjacent inserts create a shared channel.

2

Drop the key

The bowtie key slides into the slot.

3

Lock the grid

Sections stay joined as one stable layout.

Layout

Inside the case.

Everything inside Briefcase has a defined place. Headsets sit in dedicated slots, power stays separated, and cable routing keeps the setup clean from transport to training.

Dedicated power bay

Dual 330W extenders and power distribution giving fast charge capability to every headset.

Protection

Integrated foam provides a precise fit on all sides, including top and bottom, protecting contents during transport.

Cable management

Routing holes allow charging cables to pass cleanly through the insert structure.

Trainer control app

One trainer. 11 headsets. One live system.

A single desktop app lets the trainer run the whole session — manage the video library, monitor every headset, and control playback without touching a single device.

Video library & queue

Search the library, see each video's title and duration, and double-click to add to the queue. Total duration updates automatically so the trainer knows how much course content remains.

Connected devices

Monitor every trainee headset in real time — battery level and connection status at a glance, with clear synced / not synced / offline indicators (green, amber, red).

Playback controls

Control playback with play, pause, rewind and fast forward from the trainer app. The progress bar shows current position and remaining time.

Live pointer

Use the pointer to highlight points of interest for trainees in real time, directly in their headset view.

Viewer

Designed with deliberate minimalism.

The Meta Quest viewer experience stays out of the way of the training content, while keeping trainees oriented during a live, trainer-led session.

The video title and progress bar display the current training module and playback position, updated automatically as the trainer controls the session.

When the trainer pauses or plays, clear on-screen text tells the trainee exactly what is happening.

Each headset displays a device number in the corner of the screen, matching the device list in the trainer app — useful for quickly identifying a headset if a connection issue occurs.

The module

The content is the product.

A 120-slide, presenter-led training module built to feel modern, visually impressive and current — unlike the ageing decks still common in the market.

120-slide structure

A guided flow from opening setup to final recap, built so the trainer can deliver the session clearly from start to finish.

Always current

Reviewed and refreshed within a rolling 5-year window, so the module stays relevant, credible and up to date.

Modern standard

Built to replace stale slide decks and legacy training videos with cleaner visuals and stronger engagement.

Use case

Live Driver CPC training, delivered anywhere.

Briefcase is used to deliver JAUPT-approved Driver CPC (Continuing Professional Development) training in live sessions at client locations — covering topics like vulnerable road users, vehicle maintenance and HGV size awareness, across 16 training videos.
